Welcome the home page of FFBAIT (French for Business and International Trade), a website devoted to issues surrounding the teaching and learning of business French. Initiated in August of 2007, the website features pedagogical resources, bibliographies, announcements, and links that may be of interest to people teaching business French (especially those in the United States).

The mission of the ToutCanadien website (www.toutcanadien.com) is to become the most complete on-line resource for the acquisition of the North-American French Language. It is a "one-stop-shopping" language-acquisition site offering the three primary components to language learning: pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. It is also a comprehensive directory of Canadian French resources. Womens Francophone Business Practices website http://womensmicrofinance.wordpress.com/
There are some pedagogical resources, extensive links to texts that deal with women's microfinance and also African cultural practices, and a list of films to be used in class. This was created in an effort to move outside of France/Canada and look more broadly at the variety of business practices occuring in Francophone communities.
Deb S. Reisinger, Ph.D. Assistant Director, French Language Program Here is an activity I recently designed for my Business French course. We are currently dealing with issues related to globalization.
I hope other instructors will find it useful.
